In the early hours of Tuesday, the all-party Indian Parliamentary delegation led by DMK MP Kanimozhi Karunanidhi successfully concluded its visit to Spain. While addressing the Indian diaspora in Madrid, DMK MP Kanimozhi was asked about the national language of India. Her response drew thunderous applause and captured the spirit of the nation. She said, “India’s national language is Unity in Diversity. That’s the message this delegation brings to the world—and that is what truly matters today.”

On February 26, K. Annamalai, the State BJP President, criticized the DMK government, accusing it of spreading false narratives. He referred to the controversy over the three-language formula, where the DMK falsely claimed an attempt to impose Hindi. Annamalai also alleged that after this, the DMK shifted focus to the issue of delimitation, stirring unnecessary divisions instead of addressing important issues for the state.
