Shiv Sena MP Dr Shrikant Shinde met officials at Mantralaya on Tuesday to discuss relief measures for residents of 65 unauthorised buildings in Kalyan-Dombivli. Speaking to reporters, Dr Shinde criticised Shiv Sena (UBT) for neglecting the Marathi community during its tenure in the BMC and said the opposition was now raising the “Marathi manoos” issue for political gains. He urged faster action against developers and pushed for legal processes to help residents secure housing rights (PICS/X)
