The Municipal Commissioner Ashwini Bhide conducted a cleanliness inspection across Mumbai on Wednesday. She said Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) will evaluate and implement innovative ideas from citizens, housing societies and non-governmental organisations to strengthen cleanliness efforts across the city.

Komal Gaikwad, a 25-year-old single mother from Kalyan drives an autorickshaw with her daughter by her side, working nearly 16 hours a day to make ends meet.
