Eid al-Adha, or the `Festival of Sacrifice`, is among the most significant festivals in the Islamic calendar. Celebrated by Muslims around the world, it honours the faith and obedience of Prophet Ibrahim, who was willing to sacrifice his son Ismail as an act of devotion towards Allah.
