Andhra Pradesh rains: Scary drone visuals of affected areas - WATCH VIDEO

Andhra Pradesh rains have created a ruckus in the state. On September 1, heavy rain hit Andhra Pradesh hard, causing severe flooding and landslides. In Vijayawada, the rain was so heavy that it flooded homes and cars. National and state disaster relief teams quickly arrived to help, moving affected residents to safer areas. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu visited the worst-hit areas to oversee the response. So far, around 80 people have been rescued, and many residents from low-lying regions have been relocated. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a warning for the next five days, predicting thunderstorms and lightning, especially in North Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam. The situation is still critical as the state deals with the effects of the severe weather. Aerial views of Vijayawada show extensive waterlogging and flood conditions across the city. Vadodara: 11-ft-long Crocodile rescued from the floods

Due to incessant rains, Gujarat’s Vadodara faced heavy flooding and as a result it has led to some risky rescue and relief operations. Forest Department rescued the crocodile seen on the campus of the Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda in Gujarat’s Vadodara on August 29. The crocodile was 11- feet long and the forest department successfully rescued the crocodile in flooded Vadodara. Range Forest Officer Karansinh Rajput said, "... We have rescued 10 crocodiles in the last 5 days. Two have been released and 8 are still with us. We will release them when the water level of the river decreases... Today, we rescued a 14-foot crocodile from a house near Kamnath Mahadev temple, one from near the Ratri Bazar and an 11-foot crocodile from the Zoology Department of the MS University..."

The state of Himachal Pradesh has been grappling with severe landslides and damage which has resulted from incessant rains in the region. Relief and rescue operations are in progress in Samej village near Rampur in Shimla district after severe cloudbursts struck various areas of Himachal Pradesh. The resulting landslides have caused extensive damage and destruction throughout the hill station. Several rescue team members have been trapped due to impassable roads, hindering their efforts to carry out rescue and recovery tasks. So far, six people have lost their lives in this devastating landslide. On August 1st, parts of the Kullu-Manali Highway were washed away in the cloudburst. Restoration work is currently underway.

Teams from NDRF, SDRF, police, and Home Guard are all working together to find the missing people and provide aid. The situation is critical, and rescue operations are ongoing to support the affected community and locate those who are missing.

NDRF inspector Prem Negi said, "Thirty-three workers of the power project have been rescued out of which four workers were stranded in the Manala tunnel...Special equipments were used to carry out the rescue operation and evacuate the victims...An 18-member team carried out the operation..."

Delhi coaching centre flood horror: Students stage candle march for the deceased

On July 28, students held a massive protest in Delhi after three UPSC aspirants died when a coaching center basement flooded. The protestors, demanding justice, staged a candle march and chanted “We want justice” slogans. They are calling for action against the authorities for negligence. MCD officials met with the students, promising to take proper action. The Delhi Police have arrested the owner and coordinator of the coaching center. In response to the incident, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has sealed the basements of 13 Civil Services Institutes in Old Rajender Nagar.
