Lock Upp contestant Anjali Arora has been the top chatter on social media for quite some time. She recently paid visit to Haji Ali Dargah in Mumbai.

The first mini waste-to-energy plant by the BMC will be commissioned by the civic body on Friday at Haji Ali. The plant will convert two metric tonnes of wet waste into 300 units of electricity per day.

Trustees of Mumbai's Haji Ali dargah, the iconic Sufi shrine visited by thousands every year and immortalised in the movies, has shut 
the door on women. The Haji Ali Dargah Trust says it's "un-Islamic under the Sharia" for women to visit graves and its decision is final.

Shiv Sena leader Haji Arafat on Saturday said he will not allow women activist Trupti Desai set to enter the iconic Haji Ali Dargah and touch the 'mazar-e-sharif'. Arafat said Islam does not allow women to touch the 'mazar-e-sharif' in the 'dargah'.

Women activist Trupti Desai on Thursday morning entered Mumbai's Haji Ali Dargah to offer prayers amid tight security. Desai said today she entered Haji Ali Dargah and she went till the point where women were allowed to go and offered prayers.
