The prayer meet for Malaika Arora`s father, Anil Mehta, was held at `Ayesha Manor` in Bandra on Friday evening. Numerous Bollywood stars gathered to pay their respects. Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Manish Malhotra, and Shweta Bachchan stood united with the Arora family, including Khan family members, ex-husband Arbaaz Khan, Arpita Khan Sharma, and Alvira Khan, who came together to support the Arora sisters in the wake of the tragedy. The star kids from the Khan side of the family, Arhaan, Ayaan, Alizeh, and Nirvaan (alongside his rumoured girlfriend), were also seen exiting the house.

Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde also attended the reception of Ira and Nupur. Among other celebs who graced the reception included Katrina Kaif, Ranbir Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, Ayushmann Khurrana. Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare solemnized their relationship via a registered marriage at Taj Lands End, Bandra in Mumbai on January 03. Reportedly, Nupur and Ira met during the COVID-19 lockdown when Nupur was training Aamir Khan and Ira was living with her father. The duo had an engagement party in November last year
