NEXA and the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) launched the Streaming Academy Awards to celebrate excellence in original content across platforms in Hindi and regional languages. The event was held in Mumbai on 21st July. It was a star-studded affair attended by Neena Gupta, Manoj Bajpayee, Rana Daggubati, Rakul Preet Singh, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sobhita Dhulipala, among others. Aditi Rao Hydari was a vision to behold as she graced the red carpet in a black designer attire. Her sleek hairstyle and no-makeup look with statement earrings and bangles perfectly complemented her overall look. Priyamani was a vision in white as she walked the red carpet in a saree. She completed her look with a sleek bun, oxidised jewellery and neutral makeup. Rakul Preet looked stunning as she walked the red carpet in an orange gown. The makers of 'Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya' starring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon in the lead hosted a special screening of the film for the members of the film industry on February 8. Shahid's family including Pankaj Kapur, mother Neelima Azeem, and brother Ishaan Khatter were also present at the screening.
