On December 14, a morning aarti was performed at a Hanuman Temple that was recently discovered in Sambhal. The temple was found during an anti-encroachment drive conducted by the district police and administration. The drive aimed to remove illegal constructions and recover public land that had been encroached upon. During the operation, the temple was uncovered, and the local community gathered to perform the morning prayers, showing their respect and devotion. The temple’s discovery has brought attention to the area, and efforts are being made to protect and maintain it while ensuring proper legal procedures are followed.

A decades-old temple has been reopened in tense Sambhal,  found during anti-encroachment drive. The district administration on Saturday morning carried out an anti-encroachment drive in the Shahi Jama Masjid area. The district administration team visited Sambhal to check on the noise pollution through loudspeakers, the Sambhal District Magistrate (DM) said, adding that they found that there was electricity (power) theft in the area.
