Jodhpur
Tragedy struck near Jaisalmer as an AC sleeper bus traveling toward Jodhpur was engulfed in a massive fire, leaving at least 20 passengers dead and 16 others critically injured. Preliminary reports indicate the fire was caused by a mechanical fault that led the automatic doors to jam shut, trapping passengers inside as flames spread rapidly through the aisle. Bodies were discovered clustered near the exit, suggesting desperate escape attempts. Eyewitnesses say a passing water tanker played a crucial role in containing the blaze before firefighters arrived. The incident occurred near the Army War Memorial, prompting immediate intervention by military rescue units. WATCH
