Sonam Kapoor celebrated her 40th birthday surrounded by love, laughter, and some of Bollywood’s biggest names. The Kapoor clan was in full attendance with Arjun Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Jahaan Kapoor, Mohit and Akshay Marwah with Maheep Kapoor. Close friends like Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Karan Johar, Aditya Thackeray, Masaba Gupta, and Bhumi Pednekar also marked their presence at the star-studded bash.
Nirmal Kapoor, mother to actors Anil Kapoor, Boney Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor, passed away on 2nd May aged 90. Anil Kapoor’s daughter and actor Sonam Kapoor was seen reaching the residence to be with her family and mourn the passing of her grandmother. As the Kapoor family mourns the loss, members of the film fraternity arrived at the Kapoor residence in Mumbai to offer their condolences. Karan Johar, Anupam Kher, Rani Mukerji, Jackie Shroff, Tabu, Raveena Tandon, Ananya Panday and Suhana Khan were among those seen paying their respects.
