Following the Kuwait fire tragedy, a special IAF aircraft carrying mortal remains of 45 Indian victims reached Kerala on June 14. At least 45 people died after a fire broke out in a building housing workers in the city of Mangaf in southern Kuwait. Security was heightened and ambulances were deployed at the airport in Kochi. Union Minister Suresh Gopi also arrived at Cochin airport to receive the mortal remains of victims.
