While photography has been predominantly a men-dominated profession, more and more women are taking on the field and breaking barriers one click at a time. Meet Salonee Jain, an Indian photographer based in Mumbai who left her cushy job in consulting to follow her passion for photography full-time. As a photographer, Salonee now travels the length and breadth of the country and this World Photography Day 2023, here is a peek into her life as a woman photographer.
