Mahesh Babu’s 2010 film Khaleja was re-released in 4K on May 30, but fan celebrations turned chaotic across theatres in Telangana and Hyderabad. Fans reported missing scenes in the re-release and reacted with outrage. The staff inside the theatres were confronted and shows were halted. In a shocking incident, one fan even brought a real snake into a cinema hall to recreate a scene from the film. Exhibitors issued a clarification, followed by the makers, who confirmed the issue has now been resolved. The full version of Khaleja is now being screened.
