Mexico`s Foreign Affairs Ministry said late Monday that the country`s navy had removed the signs, which appeared to be on Mexican territory

On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated Mexico`s first President-elect Claudia Sheinbaum, and said that it is a momentous occassion for the country`s people. Earlier, US President Joe Biden had also congratulated Claudia Sheinbaum on her historic presidential win as Mexico`s first woman to lead the country`s government.
