Mumbai terror-attacks
11th July 2003, a date that remains etched in the hearts of every Mumbaikar. On this day, an ordinary evening turned out to be a fateful one for local train commuters of Mumbai as a series of devastating bombings rocked the financial capital city. On 11th July, 2006, the biggest tragedy of Mumbai i.e. Mumbai train bombing took place. It was 6:24 PM, when a sudden blast rocked a local train between Khar and Santa Cruz stations, piercing the evening calm with tragedy. Within minutes, six more explosions tore through train compartments at Matunga, Mahim, Bandra, Jogeshwari, Borivali, and Mira Road. The sequence of terror unfolded swiftly, targeting innocent commuters who were simply traveling home after a day`s work. The blasts left 209 people dead and over 700 injured, shocking the city to its core and leaving families and friends reeling in disbelief and anguish. Watch video to know the tragic incident unfolded
Bharatiya Janata Party MP Sudhanshu Trivedi lashed out at the Congress Party over Vijay Wadettiwar statement over Hemant Karkare. He accused the congress of hurting and degrading the valor of the fallen heroes in the 26/11 attacks. He bashed Congress saying that Congress is spitting such statement just to get radical votes.
