On January 26, 2025, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis inaugurated a new bridge that connects the Worli-Bandra Sea Bridge, as part of the Dharamveer, Swarajyarakshak Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj Mumbai Coastal Road Project. The event was held near Bindumadhav Thackeray Chowk at Worli Sea Face in Mumbai and was attended by Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Minister Adv. Ashish Shelar, and Minister Mangal Prabhat Lodha. The newly opened bridge aims to improve connectivity in the city. Starting from January 27, 2025, the road will be open for traffic daily from 7 am to midnight. This infrastructure development is expected to ease traffic congestion and provide better access to key areas along Mumbai’s coastline.
