Tovino Thomas` Malayalam film, 2018, has been chosen as India`s official entry to the 96th Academy Awards. The survival drama based on the 2018 Kerala floods was directed by Jude Anthany Joseph and released earlier this year. A jury headed by noted director Girish Kasaravalli on Wednesday announced that 2018 has been India`s selection for the Oscars in the Best International Film category. In an interview with Mid-Day during the promotions of 2018, Tovino, who was in the lead, spoke about the making of the film. Watch the full video for more!
