Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has issued a stern warning to Tehran, declaring that any direct attack would be met with an “unimaginable” response. Across the country, emergency systems are being reinforced at every level. Major hospitals have shifted into wartime protocols, increasing blood reserves, updating evacuation frameworks, and conducting active conflict drills. Soroka Medical Center, which sustained severe missile damage in June 2025, is once again tightening operational readiness and refining emergency transfer systems in anticipation of possible escalation. Sirens blared across Israel and Jerusalem on Monday (June 16) as Iran fired another barrage of projectiles towards Israel. The barrage had direct hits in Petah Tikva and Tel Aviv, where there was substantial damage to residential buildings. Israel launched its biggest-ever air offensive against Iran early on Friday (June 13) against commanders, nuclear scientists, military targets and nuclear sites. Tehran, which denies that its uranium enrichment activities are part of a secret weapons program, has responded by launching hundreds of ballistic missiles at Israel.
