NEXA and the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) launched the Streaming Academy Awards to celebrate excellence in original content across platforms in Hindi and regional languages. The event was held in Mumbai on 21st July. It was a star-studded affair attended by Neena Gupta, Manoj Bajpayee, Rana Daggubati, Rakul Preet Singh, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sobhita Dhulipala, among others. Aditi Rao Hydari was a vision to behold as she graced the red carpet in a black designer attire. Her sleek hairstyle and no-makeup look with statement earrings and bangles perfectly complemented her overall look. Priyamani was a vision in white as she walked the red carpet in a saree. She completed her look with a sleek bun, oxidised jewellery and neutral makeup. Rakul Preet looked stunning as she walked the red carpet in an orange gown. Lootere is a new series out on Disney+ Hotstar, with Hansal Mehta as the showrunner and his son Jai Mehta as the director. The father-son duo, alongwith actors Amruta Khanvilkar and Vivek Gomber, talk about shooting the web series over seven months in South Africa in the middle of the pandemic.
