Poonam Pandey faked her death on social media, which she later claimed was to raise awareness about cervical cancer. Suresh Shyamlal Gupta called it “cheap publicity” and has demanded strict action against Poonam Pandey death hoax. On February 2, a post informing about Poonam's death due to cervical cancer was shared on her official Instagram account. However, the next day, she posted a video clarifying that she faked her death on social media to raise awareness about cervical cancer.
