VD Satheesan took oath as the new Chief Minister of Kerala as the Congress-led UDF returned to power after a decade, ending the CPI(M)-led Left government in the state. The grand swearing-in ceremony in Thiruvananthapuram witnessed the presence of top Congress leaders including Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Mallikarjun Kharge. Thousands of UDF workers gathered to celebrate the alliance’s massive comeback.

Yogi Adityanath criticized the Samajwadi Party (SP) and Congress for allegedly working to harm the reputation of both Prayagraj and India. He claimed that these parties have left no stone unturned in their attempts to tarnish the image of Prayagraj. Yogi also stated that in their political rivalry with the BJP, SP and Congress are more focused on defaming the country, putting their personal battles ahead of national interests. He emphasized that their actions, in his view, are not just an attack on his party but on the nation as a whole.
