Ace Indian shooter Manu Bhaker won a bronze medal in the Women`s Air Pistol event at the Paris Olympics 2024. With a score of 221.7, Bhaker made history as the first Indian woman to win an Olympic shooting medal. This achievement also marks India`s first medal in these Olympics. Bhaker`s performance was a significant comeback after a pistol malfunction at the Tokyo Olympics. She is the first Indian woman to reach a shooting final in 20 years. South Korea`s Ye Jin took gold with a record score of 243.2, while Kim Yeji won silver with 241.3 points.
