The National Highways Authority of India has set two Guinness World Records during the construction of Bengaluru-Kadapa-Vijayawada Economic Corridor (NH-544G) in Andhra Pradesh “by laying 28.95 lane-kilometres and 10,675 MT of Bituminous Concrete continuously within 24 hours”

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi will be the chief guest at the parade. This is the first time an Egyptian president has been invited to be the chief guest of the event.
