Veteran director Rono Mukherjee, uncle to Kajol and Rani Mukherji, and known for directing films like Tu Hi Meri Zindagi (1965) and Haiwan (1977), passed away in Mumbai at the age of 83 due to age-related health issues. His daughter, Sharbani Mukherjee, was joined by cousins Tanishaa and Ayan Mukerji at the funeral, while Kajol and Rani were absent due to work commitments.

As Rani Mukerji turns 47, we revisit a gem from our Sit With Hitlist vault. In this throwback, she opened up about how motherhood has transformed her, her initial insecurities about her voice, and a memorable story about Aamir Khan asking her to dub for `Ghulam.` She also shared how Aamir later regretted it when Karan Johar made Rani use her own voice in the iconic superhit movie Kuch `Kuch Hota Hai.`
