Jaipur is illuminated with lights to welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi. PM Modi`s Rajasthan visit will see him attending the three-day annual All India Conference of Director Generals and Inspector Generals of Police at the Rajasthan International Centre in Jaipur on January 06-07. The three-day conference, which will be held from January 05-07, will deliberate on challenges posed by Artificial Intelligence (AI), cyber security, counter-terrorism, left-wing extremism, and narcotics smuggling.

At a programme in Dholpur district, Gehlot claimed that during the crisis of 2020 — when Sachin Pilot and 18 of his MLAs had rebelled against him — Raje and BJP leader Kailash Meghwal had spoken out against horse-trading. Former CM Vasundhara Raje hit back at Ashok Gehlot and called it a conspiracy against her. She alleged that Gehlot had done this in 2008 and 2018 when his government was in a minority. Sachin Pilot, in an all-out attack on his rival, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, today said his leader seemed to be the BJP`s Vasundhara Raje, and not Sonia Gandhi.
