Ranveer Singh’s team has denied reports of him producing or starring in a Shaktimaan reboot, clarifying he’s currently focused on Don 3 and Aditya Dhar’s next film. Meanwhile, original star Mukesh Khanna claimed Ranveer met him seeking approval for the role but didn’t fit the character’s moral image. Khanna added that the reboot is delayed due to creative differences and the search for the right actor. 

Mukesh Khanna who has famously portrayed the role of ‘Shaktimaan’ and ‘Bhishmapitamah’ in Mahabharat is known for his blunt opinions in the media.
