This unique take on `Devdas` earned high praise at the time of its release for its inventive storytelling and performances, particularly from Abhay Deol in the lead role. On Mid-day`s Sit With Hitlist conversation, Abhay Deol had spoken about how he wanted to empower women through `DevD`.
