After being criticized by Sonakshi Sinha for his "distasteful statements" regarding her upbringing and family, veteran actor Mukesh Khanna has responded to her delayed reaction. Khanna clarified his stance in a recent interview with News9, stating that his comments were not intended to malign Sonakshi or her father, Shatrughan Sinha, a veteran actor and politician. "I am surprised it took her so long to respond. I knew mentioning her name in connection with that Kaun Banega Crorepati incident might antagonize her, but I had no malicious intent. I hold her father in high regard and share a cordial relationship with him," Khanna explained.
