The trailer for John Abraham’s upcoming political thriller The Diplomat has been released, offering a thrilling glimpse into the story of real-life Indian diplomat JP Singh, who risked everything to rescue an Indian woman from captivity in 2017. The film, honouring the late Sushma Swaraj’s contributions to India’s diplomacy, showcases the power of negotiation and intellect over force. Directed by Shivam Nair, The Diplomat marks a new direction for John Abraham, stepping into a role focused on strategy and diplomacy. Set to release on March 7, 2025, the film promises to deliver a gripping and fresh cinematic experience. 

During the Special Session of Parliament, Baramati MP Supriya Sule fondly remembered Sushma Swaraj and Arun Jaitley, `whose name PM Modi had forgotten to mention`, she said. Sule while praising the legacy of the building and democratic values it upholds also requested the centre government to start an enquiry over irrigation, bank scams in Maharashtra. The Baramati MP said this in context of PM Modi`s speech where he had said that Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) stands for Naturally Corrupt Party.
