Union Minister Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti, while addressing in Lok Sabha, fired salvos at TMC MP Mahua Moitra for ‘Tamasha’ over Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) fund. Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti accused the TMC of playing politics. She said that she was a saint and suggested the Opposition had been punished for making false allegations. The Parliament Winter Session 2023 is slated to take place from December 4 to December 22; it is an important occasion for the government to move important laws and deal with urgent matters of national concern. The government has selected nineteen legislation that cover a variety of important topics to be discussed during the session.
