A massive fire broke out in the B-1 AC coach of the Thiruvananthapuram-Hazrat Nizamuddin Rajdhani Express near Ratlam in Madhya Pradesh, triggering panic among passengers early Sunday morning. Thick black smoke was seen billowing from the coach as railway officials rushed to detach the affected compartment and switch off the overhead electric supply. All passengers were safely rescued and shifted to other coaches as emergency teams controlled the blaze. The incident disrupted rail traffic on the route, affecting at least 18 trains. Authorities have launched an investigation into the cause of the fire.
