India is mourning the loss of 26 tourists killed in a terror attack in Pahalgam, Kashmir. In its aftermath, strong calls emerged to ban the release of Abir Gulaal, marking Pakistani actor Fawad Khan’s Bollywood comeback after nine years. Industry bodies like IFTDA and FWICE have opposed the film`s release, vowing action against those working with Pakistani artists. Both Fawad and co-star Vaani Kapoor shared emotional tributes online, with Fawad later disabling comments amid heavy backlash.

Mudassar Aziz`s dramedy starring Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Vaani Kapoor and others, will be released on August 15.
