Weeks after the deadly Pahalgam terror attack that took the lives of 26 tourists, the pilgrim numbers at the sacred site of Vaishno Devi is gradually increasing and returning to normal. Helicopter services from Katra to the Mata Vaishno Devi Bhavan have officially resumed after a temporary halt caused by recent India-Pakistan tensions. With operations at Jammu Airport now back on track and civilian flights running smoothly, heli services to the holy shrine have also restarted. Pilgrims can now book helicopter rides both online and directly at on-ground counters. The Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board has ensured that all facilities are fully functional, aiming to provide a seamless and safe experience for devotees.
