Roshan also shared an interesting anecdote about Shah Rukh’s initial reluctance to accept the film's theme of reincarnation. However, after the massive success of Karan Arjun, Shah Rukh humorously admitted his misjudgment and the director even joked that the success of the film inspired him to make 'Om Shanti Om.' When asked if he would consider remaking 'Karan Arjun,' Roshan suggested that Hrithik Roshan and Ranbir Kapoor would be his ideal choices for the new version.
