IN PHOTOS: Mumbai shrouded in smog as air quality turns unhealthy

Smog has enveloped large parts of Mumbai as air pollution levels worsened on Sunday. The air quality index (AQI) reached 132 citywide, placing the metropolis in the ‘unhealthy’ category. IN PHOTOS: Marine Drive shrouded in haze as Mumbai’s AQI touches 143

Mumbai’s skyline was covered in haze at Marine Drive on Thursday afternoon. However, the city’s air quality remained in the ‘moderate’ category despite the haze, recording an AQI of 143.
