Harmanpreet Kaur won the toss and elected to field first against England in their T20 World Cup contest on Saturday. The Women in Blue will look to secure a spot in the knockout stage of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup against a mighty England side in their third Group B game. 

India got off to a fine start with Smriti Mandhana and Shafali Verma laying a strong foundation for the side with an opening stand of 32 off just 21 balls. However, Mandhana’s dismissal led to a flurry of wickets within the first seven overs. Since then, skipper Harmanpreet Kaur and Richa Ghosh steadied the innings, making the run-chase appear easy as ever. Deepti Sharma emerged as the star performer as India registered another lopsided victory in the T20 World Cup after beating arch-rivals Pakistan in their opening game.
