Chasing 283 to win, India needed to score at least 251 to secure a place in the Super Six stage on net run-rate, but crumbled to 144 all out.
India were on Tuesday knocked out of the ICC Women's World Cup after suffering an upset 138-run drubbing at the hands of Sri Lanka in a crucial Group 'A' encounter in Mumbai.
The margin of defeat ensured India finished below West Indies on net run-rate in the group and therefore missed out on a place in the Super Sixes.
