'Bhajji' as he is fondly called made his test debut during the Australia tour of India - Border-Gavaskar Trophy in the third test at Bangalore in 1998 scoring 4 runs and clinching 2 wickets.
Bhajji made his debut along with AC Dale and DS Lehmann from Australia.
When it comes to his test career, Harbhajan is the first Indian to take a hat-trick in Test cricket. He did so in 2001 during India’s tour of Australia.
Bollywood actor Boman Irani and cricketer Sreesanth with whom he shared the (in) famous slapgate incident wished him good luck on Twitter.
Good for you, good for India, good for cricket! More strength to your elbow!!! @harbhajan_singh https://t.co/VVdahniyw5
