Praful Waghela was the star performer as Thane Marathas beat Ghatkopar Jets by nine wickets to qualify for the semi-finals of the Mitsui Shoji T20 cricket league at Jwala Sports Foundation at Police Gymkhana ground yesterday.
Opting to bat first, Ghatkopar Jets were bundled out for 81 with Waghela claiming 3-24 off four overs. He was well supported by Padmesh (2-6) and Amit (2-3).

In reply, Thane Marathas achieved the target losing only one wicket. Waghela hit an unbeaten 61, which included 10 boundaries and a six.
