The search for India’s cricket coach saw another name added to list with Anil Kumble applying for the post.

According to sources in the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), the former India skipper’s application has been received by the governing body, wisdenindia.com reported.
BCCI, on Sunday had sent a press release stating they had received 57 applications including those of foreign candidates for the chief coach’s post ahead of the June 10 deadline.
Kumble, who is India’s highest wicket-taker in Tests (619) and ODIs (334) has mentored Indian Premier League sides Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians in the past. He is currently the chairman of the International Cricket Council’s Cricket Committee.
