Cricket Australia (CA) is considering a request from Indian cricket board for an extra warm-up match in Australia for their summer tour later this year.

India's three heavy losses in succession against England have prompted the BCCI to look for measures and prevent such humiliation when they tour Australia in December for four Tests and a triangular series including Sri Lanka.

CA has confirmed that India have now asked for another match. "We are currently considering the request," a CA spokesman told the Daily Telegraph.
