And, how about the times when he has written something against one of his mates? "I show them the articles before I send it to ESPNCricinfo (the website he writes for) Also, I have to get every article cleared by Cricket Australia before they are published.
"Even before I wrote my book 'In the Firing Line' I sent each and every article to all my Australian teammates across the country. I wouldn't publish them otherwise. Even if I do play the Boxing Day Test (or get into the squad), I'd be sharing with them everything I write," an honest Cowan says.
Cowan is a lover of India. "I love your countryu00a0-- I've been to Bangalore, Mumbai, Jodhpur, Jaipur, and so many other places. The people are so nice there," says the southpaw.
The sport can do with more such blokesu00a0-- who are penning down words even while playing competitive cricket.
