Chasing a massive target of 460, the tourists were bundled out for 282 despite resilient efforts by skipper Jason Holder (68) and Dinesh Ramdin (59).

For the hosts, Nathan Lyon and Mitchell Marsh turned the screws as they wrapped up the match on the fourth day by bagging three and four wickets respectively.

Meanwhile, James Pattinson and Peter Siddle also made significant contributions by sharing three wickets between themselves.

Lyon was adjudged 'man of the match' after scalping eight wickets in the entire match. With the win, the hosts have also retained the Frank Worrell Trophy and extended their unbeaten run in Test series against West Indies to 23 years.

Australia, which had won the opening match by an innings and 212-run in Hobart, will now play the third and the final Test in Sydney, starting from January 3.
