The Australians will face the South Americans at the Sydney Football Stadium on October 9, FFA said.

The Socceroos have one win and three draws in their four previous encounters with Paraguay, all at home.

Australia are also scheduled to play Slovenia in Ljubljana on August 11, Switzerland in St Gallen on September 3 and Poland in Krakow on September 7.
