And the footballer might even call it The Queen Vic, after his wife of 11 years Victoria.
David and Gordon have been close pals for many years.
According to sources, the two have considered several joint ventures but reckon an English pub would be the best.
"He wants pie and mash, fish and chips and even chicken in a basket on the menu, just like the meals he eats when he's in the UK," the Daily Star quoted a pal of David, 35, as saying.
Being regulars on the LA scene, the pair felt it was the best location because a string of expats live in the area.
