Teenage opener Craig Brathwaite, who scored 68 and shared a 137-run opening stand with Adrian Barath (63), admitted that the dressing room was a happy place despite back-to-back losses.

"The fellows are quite bubbly now. Yes, we lost two matches, but we have two set batsmen in the middle. Coming back tomorrow, we would like to dominate with both getting big scores," Brathwaite said at the post-match briefing yesterday.

The 18-year-old said the wicket also helped in their quest to salvage some pride on the tour. "Early on, with the new ball, it was doing a bit but nothing significant.

It's a good pitch... the best among all we have played on this tour. It was spinning slowly, so we had time to adjust. There was not much turn."
