Brazil will host the greatest ever World Cup football finals next June and July, President Dilma Rousseff said as last night's draw ceremony got under way.

“We love football — welcome to Brazil,” Dilma told the gathering before the world media at the north-eastern beach resort of Costa do Sauipe.
Blatter said: “I think it was time for the World Cup to come back to Brazil,” adding football was an “intrinsic value” bedded within the host nation's multicultural heritage.u00a0Blatter urged Brazilians to unite and make the event a huge success.
