Kerala and Uttar Pradesh recorded convincing victories on day three of the Ranji Trophy yesterday.
Keralad defeated Himachal Pradesh by 61 runs in a Group C match in Tellyiherry, Kannur. The visitors, beginning the day at 110 for seven, were bowled for 134 while chasing 196. Vinoop Manoharan took five wickets.

Uttar Pradesh thrashed Services by an innings and 14 runs in Ghaziabad. Services, resuming at 19 for no loss in their second innings, were bundled out for 191.
Rajat Paliwal's 95 went in vain as he ran out of partners. The wickets were shared between RP Singh (2/72), Piyush Chawla (2/57), Amit Mishra (2/18) and Imitiaz Ahmed (3/16).
Delhi had extended its lead against Odisha by 112 runs, ending the day at 49 for two in 12 overs. Out of form Virender Sehwag was batting on 32 and had the company of Mithun Manhas, who was on four.
Earlier Sunday, Odisha managed 379 in response to Delhi's first innings score of 449. Natraj Behera top scored with 158 while Abhilash Mallick made 71. Delhi pacer Parwinder Awana claimed a five-wicket haul.
