Manchester United manager David Moyes has said that striker Wayne Rooney should be aiming to score 30 goals this season and thinks he could be in for a strong partnership with Robin Van Persie
According to The Guardian, playing with a headband to protect the wound that had ruled Rooney out since last month, the 27-year-old registered his opening strike of the season in United's 2-0 win over Crystal Palace at Old Trafford on Saturday.

After an impressive curling free kick, Rooney saluted the crowd, which has continued to support him despite his wish to leave, the report said.
Moyes said that Rooney had scored a lot of goals but to be successful, the club needed people who could score at least 20 goals.
He said that he was sure Rooney had gained confidence after the Old Trafford crowd fully backed him.u00a0
